About the area: One of the most picturesque villages on the beautiful English coastline, the Yorkshire village of Robin Hood’s Bay delights visitors with its quaint cottages, bubbling beck, narrow cobbled streets and sandy beach. All visitors will love the beach and its cliff top walks, whilst more serious climbers can enjoy the many long distance trails that pass through the town such as the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Coast to Coast walks. The village is located between two thriving seaside destinations – Whitby and Scarborough, which each offer amusements, beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants. Robin Hood’s Bay itself also offers good amenities, including shops, restaurants pubs and an ice cream parlour.
