About the area: The small village of Threshfield in Upper Wharfedale borders the nearby villages of Grassington, Linton, Hetton, Cracoe and Rylstone. Grassington, only one mile away, is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where you will find traditional stone cottages and shops, along with a monthly farmers’ market, and further afield is the market town of Skipton.
