This cottage has been carefully preserved to retain its historic character, combining the old with the new. A spacious open plan living area greets new arrivals, with exposed stonework and old beams alongside a warming woodburning stove, contemporary furnishings and a modern bespoke kitchen which all combine to ensure a great stay. The main bedroom is spacious and enjoys good views of the surrounding countryside and there's also a modern, well-equipped bathroom. Outside, there is a small patio where you can sit out and enjoy the afternoon and evening sunshine, perhaps enjoying a refreshing drink after a hard day out on nearby Top Withens, made famous in the Wuthering Heights novel. There are numerous walks from the doorstep, including one that takes you to the nearby pub with its own well-known brewery. Walk across meadowland, woodland and down the road to Oxenhope station, where visitors can enjoy a ride on a nostalgic steam train. Haworth has much to offer, including the famous high street and the Parsonage Museum amongst many other attractions. The market town of Hebden Bridge is nearby, and within reach is Skipton with its cobbled streets and delightful castle. Further afield is the Victorian spa town of Harrogate, boasting fabulous shops, an excellent theatre and the Royal Pump Room Museum.
