The Hayloft, Masham

The Hayloft is a stone-built barn conversion on the owners’ former farmstead, in the hamlet of Ellingstring, five miles from Masham. This cottage sleeps four people in two ground floor zip/link super king-size double bedrooms. The cottage also has a ground floor bathroom, a first floor kitchen with dining area and a first floor sitting room. Outside there’s off road parking for two cars, a shared courtyard with furniture and access to three acres of farmland. The Hayloft is an ideal base for families.

About the area: The historic market town of Masham is situated in Wensleydale alongside the River Ure. The town boasts a huge market square, where a Wednesday market has been joined by a popular Saturday market. The town boasts galleries, shops, restaurants and pubs and has become best known as the home of two breweries Theakstons of Old Peculier fame and the Black Sheep Brewery.
