“We arrived late at the cottage in the evening. We would have loved a cup of tea.But we didn't bring any tea bags or milk. Would have very much appreciated the tea and milk instead of the wine. Apart from that small whinge every thing else was great. Second time of visiting this cottage still love it.”

“Just spent a lovely week in Mapleleaf cottage. On arrival checking the cottage was very clean and had everything that we needed for a home from home stay. The wine and biscuits were a lovely welcome gesture thank you. It was great to meet you both. We visited quite a few sights in Northumbria during our stay and the local pub was very welcoming with a good range of food that we can recommend. Hopefully we will be returning again in the near future.”

“Lovely property, very clean and well equipped. Properly dog friendly rather than dogs tolerated. Outside space is brilliant and was perfect for the dog (photos showed a small enclosed area but it's been altered and is quite big now). Be careful if you have a small dog though, they may be able to get under the fence in parts. Nice village with a great, dog friendly pub (which does get very busy), a fish and chip van at weekend (very nice) and a local shop. Short walk to the beaches, which are also dog friendly. Loads of places to visit without driving far. Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne are well worth a visit.”

“Excellent cottage our second visit their only let down was the miniature size of the of the sinkalso the tight shower giving little room to move other than that everything thing was fine including the weather although the battery in the sound bar was beginning to fail on our last night”

“Quiet lovely cottage. Owners were always accessible and nothing was too much trouble. I can highly recommend a holiday in Northumberland and in particular this holiday property.”

“Owner proactive to ensure you have a good stay responds quickly to quires. We have stayed here before and will again.Ideal for us as I scored above but we tried to book 12 months ahead but the week's gone.Well priced & website easy to use.”

“The cottage was of a high standard in the furnishings and equipment. Everything seemed to sparkle when you walked in. We were very impressed and would say, the accomodation was one of the best we have stayed in. Just one "problem" the bed was so warm and comfy we didn't want to get up in a morning. Having a designated parking space made life easier. Northumberland is one of our favourite holiday locations and Beadnell was so central for visiting the coastal villages to the north and the south as well as those further inland. Many thanks for our enjoyable stay.Jenny and Richard”

“The owner was very helpful with local advice and letting us know the property was ready before the arrival time. Even on day of departure we had a email to say the A1 was closed at junction 61. So a big thank you for your support during our stay at your lovely property. Property is 5 minute walk to Beadnell beach. The Northumberland coastline is stunning and this was an ideal base to explore from. Seahouses which is 2 miles up the coast offers boat trips to the Farne Islands which is great to see Puffins and Grey Seals. Plenty of Castles in the area worth visiting especially Bamburgh. We had a great time and would highly recommend Mapleleaf Cottage”

“MapleLeaf Cottage was all we hoped for and more. Everything was provided, it was like a home from home. Very clean and tidy throughout and good off road parking. Although we had a problem with the heating the owners travelled a very long distance and brought in an electrician to resolve it for which we were very grateful. This property is highly recommended for couples.”
