“A brilliant location for a short stay, close to the good road system. The scenery was beautiful, unfortunately the road to the nearest pub ( 2 miles ) was very narrow with few passing places . It also served one or two farms and other properties. The cottage was small but adequate for 2 people and a small dog ( who loved the area )the kitchen was very limited . The sitting area was fine as was the spacious bedroom. The TV was rather small, however, one does not go on a holiday to sit and watch TV. All in all we had an excellent mini break .”

“A lovely cottage in a very nice, get away from it all location. Theres a hot tub too to relax in, nice after a day out walking on the moors in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful moors and woodland as well as the Rievaulx historic Abbey amongst others to explore in the area. Also Helmsley looks a lovely countryside town and the Owl pub 2 miles away at Hawnsby looks delightful. Would certainly recommend this part of the country.”

“What a beautiful location Rievaulx is located in. With the Abbey ruins and Helmsley 10 minutes away, it's perfect for a UK break exploring the North York Moors. The hot tub was a treat too. The cottage was cosy and lovingly restored. Hope to visit one day in the future!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Rievaulx, it's a beautiful and really cosy cottage set in a lovely location very peaceful and relaxing. The only downside is that the shower was not very good we kept getting cold water only from it no matter what we tried. But apart from that a great place that we would recommend to anyone”
