“Probably the best cottage we have stayed in,nice and quiet in a nice location. But and it is a big but the access road is dreadful, anybody with a sporty type of car would struggle to get up the track! Its a shame as the cottage is superb,it would stop me returning!”

“We had a wonderfully tranquil stay. The cottage was very clean, beautifully decorated and maintained. The kitchen was really well equipped. Lovely welcome gifts chocolates and wine.We loved the peace and quiet, the stunning views, and that we hardly saw a soul. We saw the cows and horse, but no hens or peacocks, though. The beds could have been a little more comfortable the springs creaked and moved but overall, we were delighted with our holiday, and would happily go again.”

“Very peaceful and relaxing, owners are delightful and friendly and Eddie the horse was a regular visitor for a apple and carrots, shops around 5 minutes away and a 20 minute drive to Barnsley where there is a massive indoor market where everything is under one roof, will definitely be returning”
