“We had a fabulous time at Hall Farm Bungalow. Lovely location in Shirley, Derbyshire, just below the Peak District. Shirley is a small quiet village with only the Pub and it's Deli, Hall Farm Bungalow is it's only holiday rental home so it's the perfect place to go to for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. We enjoyed the comfy, well designed bungalow, large garden with its beautiful tranquil views, the people in the village were most friendly and told us lots about the farming, growing and about the area. The Bungalow is situated on the edge of the owners farm it's a working crop farm and also a breeding farm where pedigree dutch sheep are bred. We enjoyed watching the maize grow in the 10 days we were here and walking through the maize fields was fun too. We enjoyed local walks, cycling on the fascinating Tissington and Morsal Trails, an adventure day at Alton Towers, the stunning Ilam Park and much much more. We would definitely come here again and we recommend this cottage 100%. Thank you to the great owners who looked after us and ensured we had a wonderful stay”

“Loved it. A bit dated but did the job and at least one doesn't stress too much about using it. Small bits and bobs, still no idea how to work the heating (couldn't turn it off at times), but would love to go back. Lovely quiet location, great garden, cottage has a nice vibe. Really enjoyed it.”
