“We loved the location, lovely to see all the wildlife. The bed was very comfortable and the hospitality was very good. We were recommended to visit The Cock at Henham, and the food was excellent. We knew about the access to the bedoom via the narrow and steep staircase, but we got used to that. What was not so easy to get used to, was the chemical loo. Other than that we had a great week away, visiting friends and places we knew.”

“The cottage was small but comfortable. Metal staircase was quite steep but coming down backwards was recommended. Secluded position. No problem with aircraft noise. Lorries passing close by every 15 minutes each day to the nearby quarry, where noisy. Delightful footpaths nearby. Hatfield Forest, 5 miles by car, was extensive perfect for the dog, highly recommended. The owner, living close by was very welcoming. Overall this secluded break would suit an adventurous dog.”

“We had a lovely stay. Quite place with a lovely view onto their land. We enjoyed the outside porch and found the cottage very comfortable. Easy walk to the golf course and shops within a short drive. Was the perfect place to relax for the weekend. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We look forward to visiting again next year.”
