Reviews

“Had an excellent stay, ideal location for exploring the area, lots of good facilities near by. The spiral stair case can be a bit slippery for children and dogs. I would stay here again.”

“This cottage is just perfect in so many ways. It is tucked away in the centre of Bovey Tracey so it is quiet and yet a few yards from everything you need. The cottage has thoughtful touches like cling film and foil, not to mention milk, strawberries and cream on arrival. Many lovely walks and interesting places to visit within a very short distance.”

“Beautiful cottage, lovely and perfect for us with two dogs Closed in garden that the dogs could be let out Beautiful modern bathroom Big bedrooms and big comfy beds Towels provided and dressing gowns Then only thing I would say and this is personal preference.. there was too much clutter and items around the cottage Overall we loved our stay and would go back”

“Absolutely delighted with the property. Very nicely presented, clean, with all the equipment you could need. Probably the best property we have rented. Thanks to the owners and their caretaker for taking all this trouble.”

“Just back from a great week in Cherry Tree Cottage. The one thing I was looking for when booking was that it was secure for my dog. I like to let him out to wonder round a secure garden whilst I get on with other things (usually drinking coffee or wine!). This garden was fully secure and a metal gate to the road, so he could atleast it arch the world go by. The garden is also a great sun trap on an evening. Inside absolutely everything is thought of. I even found a slow cooker tucked away. Very comfortable and spacious. The photos do not do this cottage justice. Great little park down the road for dog walks too. Pub less than a minute away.”

“Cherry Tree Cottage was an absolute pleasure to stay in. It provided everything we could possibly need for us and our labrador. Located perfectly for all the shops, cafes and pubs and within easy drive to all the coastal towns and Dartmoor National Park you could not ask for more. Blessed with lovely weather the patio was a lovely sunny spot to relax after a day exploring. We will definitely be coming back.”

“Very good cottage. Excellent kitchen. Shower fine they all appear a bit underpowered now. Beds excellent. Smallish garden surrounded by high fence and gates which was great for our greyhound. She did find the stones by the gate a bit hard on her feet. Right in the centre of the town up a very small side road.”
