. The Stables at Daubeneys lie in the peaceful conservation Cotswold village of Colerne, surrounded by rolling countryside. The Grade II* listed stable conversion (PFFH) is part of the only longhouse in Wiltshire and dating back to the 13th century, is the oldest house in the village. Beautifully refurbished to offer all modern conveniences, yet retains charm and character. Colerne has a good selection of shops and pubs but only a short bus journey, 7 miles, will take you into Bath and Chippenham. Within easy reach of Bristol, Bradford-on-Avon and the much-filmed villages of Lacock and Castle Combe. Great area for walking. Shop 200 yards, family pub and restaurant 10 yards.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION for both properties at Daubeneys - Wifi available, however this facility cannot be guaranteed to be available at all times due to the unpredictability of the service provider. Travel cot only available. There is a no smoking policy in place. The freezer is located in an outbuilding

Reviews

“Such a superb stay in this beautiful cottage. We stayed with our 8 year old son and two dogs the place was clean tidy and well looked after. Had everything we needed, good access to dog walks and local pubs and the owners could not have been friendly or more helpful. Such a great holiday. Thank you”

“A tranquil, spacious cottage with interesting, characterful features. It proved to be ideal for visiting both rural attractions and the city of Bath. The punctuality of the 228 bus service to Bath was impressive and an added recommendation for this property. The friendly greeting from the owners and the welcome pack were most appreciated.”
