A little rural piece of paradise hidden off the tourist routes. The village of Linkinhorne has a lovely pub less than 1 mile from these three cottages. Primrose (ref 30212) and Snowdrop (ref 30213) have been superbly converted from old stone barns and stand in the grounds of the owner’s 16th-century home yet both have a degree of privacy, each with a fully enclosed patio garden, and there is a wildlife pond with running water and an adjoining picnic area in the grounds. Snowdrop has been specifically designed to cater for those who use wheelchairs with little or no assistance required. Daffodill (ref UKC1333) is a fabulous, detached, architect-designed barn conversion which has two spacious bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms, and a lovely oak timber living room with large glazed windows overlooking the tranquil garden and meadow beyond. Complete with underfloor heating, a wood burner for those chillier evenings and sumptuous furnishings, this property is an absolute delight. Dogs are most welcome here and the friendly owners who live to the rear of the holiday cottages are most accommodating. For the keen walkers there is an abundance of walking trails around the area or a little further afield in just under an hour you could visit both North and South Cornish coast lines. STERTS open-air theatre is just a short drive from the cottages, a fabulous place to visit to watch a play or listen to poetry or music, set high up on the edge of the Bodmin Moor. Beach 20 miles. Shop and restaurant 4 miles, pub serving food 1¼ miles.

Primrose (ref 30212), Snowdrop (ref 30213) and Daffodil (ref UKC1333) can be booked together to accommodate up to 12 guests.

“The cottage was in the middle of nowhere, but callington was a short drive away. A fantastic welcome from Claire and Andre. We had the most tranquil and peaceful week, and Harvey the Frenchie was worn out by the long country lanes. Definitely will return.”

“Lovely cottage and lovely surrounding area but I'd probably try and be closer to the coast, personal choice! However the local area is really nice and rural and away from the hustle and bustle so would be idylic for some. Netherless we loved the place and all the little extras in the cottage were a very nice touch, such as basic store cupboard essentials (milk, salt, pepper, oil etc) and everyday cleaning materials and things such as books, games, a selction of dvd's etc. Wine and chochlates too. The local pub is the Manor House about 2025 minute walk and well worth the walk , seafood stew very nice. Just a couple of suggestions but not complaints...blackout blindscurtains in the bedroom and a biggerplusher sofa in the lounge. All in all a really nice cottage, nuce area and very attentive amd thoughtful hosts.. thoroughly reccomended!!”

“We had a lovely stay at Snowdrop Cottage. Sadly the local pub had closed but one in nearby Rilla Mill was friendly and served delicious meals, eat in or takeaway but was a bit far for walking back in the dark. The cottage was lovely and welcoming. A great base for visiting part of Cornwall we hadnt before. Local maps and information was really helpful. Plenty of nice walks and we had a wonderful relaxing week. Beautiful surroundings and helpful friendly hosts.”

“For us this was a perfect location to find peace and tranquility and take our vizla for lots of new and interesting walks, close to the moors and woods of Bodmin and being in the middle close enough for days out at both North and South Cornwall coast. Cottage had everything we needed and lovely fully enclosed patio area with tranquil views across the garden and adjoining fields.”
