Only a 250-yard walk from the beautiful sandy beach of Whitesand Bay, this charming little row of three delightful and comfortably furnished holiday cottages commands magnificent views over the bay and Sennen Cove. On a quiet lane leading only to the cliffs, they have been very tastefully converted from a spacious Victorian house and are stunningly set in several acres of shared natural grounds; home to a wonderful variety of wildlife which can easily be seen from the steep beach path and the cottages themselves.

The beach at Whitesand is magnificent; a splendid mile of sand which has been awarded Blue Flag status and is excellent for surfing (lifeguards operate throughout the summer, and there is also a ban on dogs from 1st May to 30th September. Dogs are permitted year round on nearby Gwenver Beach). Sennen Cove (½ mile) is a picturesque little fishing village looking out over the bay. It offers shops, pub, restaurants – even a lifeboat station – all within walking distance. There are some beautiful walks along the coast towards Cape Cornwall in one direction, and beyond Land’s End in the other.

The famous outdoor Minack Theatre is only 3 miles away and Penzance (7 miles) boasts a mainline station, shops, inns, swimming-pool, sailing and tennis. There is a golf course at St Just (4 miles) and facilities for squash and badminton are available locally. Picturesque St Ives (a renowned haunt of artists) is 15 miles away along the spectacular north coast.

The Carn Towan cottages are perfectly positioned for enjoying a Cornish holiday – and are cosily heated throughout, with double glazing, making them ideal for all-year-round breaks. Shops ½ mile.

“You will be able to choose any one of the following three options if we or the accommodation provider cancel your booking, or if you cancel your booking because UK government public health measures mean that it is unlawful to travel to or make use of the accommodation you booked:
Full refund – we will refund you the full amount you have paid for your booking.
Transfer to a later date or different accommodation – subject to availability, we will help you move your booking to a later date or even a new location or accommodation with no admin fees, but please be aware that if the cost of your new accommodation is higher than your original booking, then you’ll need to pay the difference.
Choose an e-voucher to rebook your holiday online – you can request an e-voucher for the amount you have previously paid for your booking. You can then use it to book a new holiday online or towards another existing booking, without having to call us. Vouchers issued in 2020 are valid until 31st December 2020 and can be used on holidays departing before 31st December 2021.
Plus, to give our customers the added flexibility they need at this time, for any bookings with arrival dates on or before 31 December 2020, the following applies:
Pay for your 2020 break just 3 weeks before you go – to give you more time to pay for your holiday during these uncertain times, we’ve moved the balance due date for bookings with arrival dates up to 31st December 2020 to just 21 days before your holiday is due to start. If you choose to cancel your holiday before your balance due date, then we will waive your liability for the remainder of the balance and no further amount will be collected from you. If you choose to cancel on or after your balance due date, then you will need to pay the cancellation charges (according to the number of days before the start of your holiday) as set out in the cancellation charges table which you can find in your booking conditions, as well as any applicable booking fees, admin charges or insurance premiums that you owe. *If you have booked a property that is stated to sleep 10 people or more and your booking begins between 1 September and 31 December 2020, your balance due date will remain at 12 weeks prior to the holiday start date as set out in the booking conditions.”
