The property provides accommodation for that family or group getaway to enjoy the delights of north Wales. There is ample opportunity to explore the possibilities of fly fishing (available by arrangement with owner, at cost), shooting in season, kayaking in the Dee, walking in the hills and other outdoor pursuits – the list is endless. For rest and relaxation, there are a wide range of cafes, bars, restaurants and independent shops just over the bridge. Alternatively, rest, read, cook and eat in our pretty, secluded garden. “Anyone looking to stay in Llangollen should look no further than Bishop Trevor House. It is so lovely and full of character with an amazing kitchen, beautiful lounge and snug TV room. Everything you need is there….and more. We had a lovely welcome from Trish with a nice welcome pack to get us tarted.On the door step of the beautiful Llangollen Bridge with everything within walking distance. We walked up to Castell Bran, tremendous views from the top, walked to Horseshoe falls, walked from Ty Mawr Country park along the river dee and up over the aquaduct, canoed over the aquaduct all the way to Chirk….totally brilliant.We are definitely coming back, even though we only live and hour and a half away.A big big thank you for letting us stay in your lovely house, we hope we left it as we found it, beautifully clean.Would recommend to any one. Thanks again for a great holiday”

“This is our second time at Bishop Trevor house, and we hope it won’t be the last.The location is perfect you are right in the lovely town of Llangollen, with the river Dee outside in front of the property and the canal behind. Lots of choices for places to dine out, although the property’s well equipped for all you could possibly need.The locations is within easy reach of Snowdon and the towns of Liverpool and Chester. Tricia is extremely helpful and friendly, thank you for sharing your property.”

  • We have to cancel your booking;
  • You cancel your booking because you are prohibited to travel by UK public health measures, such as if we are in lockdown, or you would be in breach of household mixing rules;
  • You, or someone in your party, has COVID**;
  • You or someone in your party has been told to self-isolate by Track and Trace**;
  • You are shielding or vulnerable and can no longer make use of your booking**.

In these circumstances, you will be able to choose between:
Full refund
We will refund you the full amount you have paid for your booking.
A transfer to a later date or a different location or accommodation
Subject to availability, we will help you move your booking to a later date or even a new location or accommodation with no admin fees, but please be aware that if the cost of your new arrangements is higher than your original booking, then you’ll need to pay the difference. Of course, if the cost is less, we will refund the difference.
An e-voucher to rebook your holiday online
You can request an e-voucher for the amount you have previously paid for your booking. You can then use it to book a new holiday online or towards another existing booking, without having to call us. Vouchers issued are valid until 3 September 2021 and can be used on holidays departing before 31st December 2022.
