This detached single-storey holiday lodge sitting in its own private, partially enclosed garden enjoys lovely rural views across to the stunning mountains of the Snowdonia National Park. Situated on the edge of a small and exclusive caravan park the lodge is just a mile from the glorious sandy beach and excellent choice of cafes and restaurants in Criccieth. Porthmadog, 5 miles, is home to the world famous Ffestiniog narrow gauge railway, whilst a myriad of outdoor pursuits and family visitor attractions are all easily accessible. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Parked outside of the barrier which was absolutely fine but we were told we could get a fob to get through the barrier if required, but as the parking spot was right beside the van we didn’t bother with one. “A quiet, comfortable, very well equipped property (really short of nothing that we needed). We stayed at Parc lodge whilst the caravan park was closed for its winter recess so apart from general maintenance work on the site, we had the place to ourselves. We parked in (what I assumed) was a waiting area prior to the caravan park security barrier (one suspects this would not be possible when the site was functional and I’m not sure where you would park then – although there is plenty of room on the site itself and you have a zapper to operate the barrier). Parc Lodge is convenient for Criccieth (Cadwaladers for ice cream enthusiasts) and Portmadog is fairly close for supplies – Tesco etc) The property is in a good location for trips on to the Lleyn Peninsula, the North Wales coast, Snowdonia and the Harlech Dome. As our visit was in February we really didn’t have the option of using the attractive decking area or the outdoor spaces. We had a delightful stay at Parc Lodge and I would certainly use this property again.”

“You will be able to choose any one of the following three options if we or the accommodation provider cancel your booking, or if you cancel your booking because UK government public health measures mean that it is unlawful to travel to or make use of the accommodation you booked:
Full refund – we will refund you the full amount you have paid for your booking.
Transfer to a later date or different accommodation – subject to availability, we will help you move your booking to a later date or even a new location or accommodation with no admin fees, but please be aware that if the cost of your new accommodation is higher than your original booking, then you’ll need to pay the difference.
Choose an e-voucher to rebook your holiday online – you can request an e-voucher for the amount you have previously paid for your booking. You can then use it to book a new holiday online or towards another existing booking, without having to call us. Vouchers issued in 2020 are valid until 31st December 2020 and can be used on holidays departing before 31st December 2021.
Plus, to give our customers the added flexibility they need at this time, for any bookings with arrival dates on or before 31 December 2020, the following applies:
Pay for your 2020 break just 3 weeks before you go – to give you more time to pay for your holiday during these uncertain times, we’ve moved the balance due date for bookings with arrival dates up to 31st December 2020 to just 21 days before your holiday is due to start. If you choose to cancel your holiday before your balance due date, then we will waive your liability for the remainder of the balance and no further amount will be collected from you. If you choose to cancel on or after your balance due date, then you will need to pay the cancellation charges (according to the number of days before the start of your holiday) as set out in the cancellation charges table which you can find in your booking conditions, as well as any applicable booking fees, admin charges or insurance premiums that you owe. *If you have booked a property that is stated to sleep 10 people or more and your booking begins between 1 September and 31 December 2020, your balance due date will remain at 12 weeks prior to the holiday start date as set out in the booking conditions.”
