Nestled just down the hill are the magnificent ancient castle, lovely beaches and a fine selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Wendon provides an idyllic base for holidays all year round. There are wonderful coastal walks and exhilarating outdoor pursuits in the nearby Snowdonia National Park. There is also a host of visitor attractions nearby, including the world famous Ffestiniog Railway, which provides guests with scenic journeys deep into the mountains, and the Italianate village of Portmeirion. Golf, riding and fishing are all available close by. Beach 50 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

“Can’t beat the location and the house is spotlessly clean. Plenty of amenities including the Sky package which was good for some rainy days we had! (The only tiny gripe is to let dog owners know that dogs are not to be left in alone. All we would have wanted is to pop up the road for a pint but observed the rules to stay with the dog. No harm done, didn’t spoil the holiday just add it as an FYI)”

“A great place to unwind. The view from the back garden is spectacular. We had a relaxing week. The location is perfect and the local amenities are within walking distance. Parking was an issue; we often had to park quite far away and mum can’t walk very far. We only managed to park near the house on the first day and the last day. However this did not spoil the holiday. The cottage was comfy and practical and the owners were friendly. All in all, a great holiday.”

“Had a lovely holiday at Wendon cottage. Owners really helpful and welcoming and on hand for any questions you have. Perfect location for wanders on the beach with an ice cream, and terrace has a beautiful view for watching the sea. We didn’t see the dolphins but did see a seal. Cottage well equipped with sky TV and Hive heating, lots of storage and powerful shower. Couldn’t always park outside the house but always really nearby with free spaces up the road. Would definitely return and have recommended to others.”

“Good sized 3/bed terraced house in central location just below the Castle. The front door is onto the pavement ( we managed to park on the street bang outside) and it has an open terrace/patio at the rear with wonderful views over the bay. With the comfortable seats there is no better place to be on a sunny day.The property has been extensively refurbished, was extremely well equipped and furnished and the owners run the fish and chip shop opposite should you require any help.”

“You will be able to choose any one of the following three options if we or the accommodation provider cancel your booking, or if you cancel your booking because UK government public health measures mean that it is unlawful to travel to or make use of the accommodation you booked:
Full refund – we will refund you the full amount you have paid for your booking.
Transfer to a later date or different accommodation – subject to availability, we will help you move your booking to a later date or even a new location or accommodation with no admin fees, but please be aware that if the cost of your new accommodation is higher than your original booking, then you’ll need to pay the difference.
Choose an e-voucher to rebook your holiday online – you can request an e-voucher for the amount you have previously paid for your booking. You can then use it to book a new holiday online or towards another existing booking, without having to call us. Vouchers issued in 2020 are valid until 31st December 2020 and can be used on holidays departing before 31st December 2021.

If you choose to cancel on or after your balance due date, then you will need to pay the cancellation charges (according to the number of days before the start of your holiday) as set out in the cancellation charges table which you can find in your booking conditions, as well as any applicable booking fees, admin charges or insurance premiums that you owe.
