“We loved this cottage and it's location just a very short stroll from a marvellous isolated white sand beach with seal colony at each end. Large numbers of assorted seabirds on the beach daily. Gin clear water and very little evidence of human detritus washed ashore. The seals are very inquisitive and bob in on the waves to have a closer look at you, getting remarkable close to the shore. Park cottage is isolated and accessed via an eroded sandy track. We managed in a Suzuki Swift but don't try it any thing lower or things might become interesting! The cottage is very quirky and organic in nature but it is just so 'right' in so many ways, a bit like Richard the owner, who lives a couple of fields away, who lets you get on with it. If you love quiet country side, wonderful walks, beaches, fantastic wildlife, and are not overly keen on human company then book Park and visit Sanday, AWESOME!”
