Reviews

“The Water Tower is a beautiful holiday home and would highly recommend it. It has beautiful surroundings, very quiet and relaxing but also very close to several amenities. There are lots of places you can visit which are close by.”

“We stayed for 4 nights in the Water Tower, and we would happily return. Upon arrival there were a couple of cleaning issues caused by carpets being fitted but the owners sent the cleaners back straight away after I had got in touch. The only comments I would make is the rooms in the water tower (despite the heating being on) are cold and could perhaps benefit from a separate electric wall panel radiators being fitted and to boost the temperature, as the downstairs bedroom became ridiculously hot whilst trying to heat the upstairs bedrooms during the chilly nights. Otherwise it had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our stay.”

“The Water Tower is a lovely unique accomodation with amazing views. Private driveway with fantastic gardens which the kids and dogs all thoroughly enjoyed. Easy walk down to the pebble beach in Auchmithie and close to lovely sandy beach at Lunan Bay and the harbour at Arbroath.Having WiFi would have been a nice perk. Also extra space in the kitchen to store food. Could maybe utilise further cupboard space at entrance to front door for storing all the glasses and some other things to create more storage. Or maybe utilise the boot room better and have washing machine and extra storage in thereThe accommodation was lovely and tidy but could really do with some love and care. Also a really thorough deep clean, especially on the items in the kitchen like the dishwasher and washing machine. Microwave has sadly been left to rust at the top.Lots of bright open windows which was lovely during day to take in the amazing views but would have been nice to be able to close curtains on a night. Also could do with some privacy screening on the bathroom windows.Having to remove the rubbish was a bit of an inconvenience. Could this not be incorporated as part of the cleaning”

“Really enjoyed our time at the water tower. Lovely views and great local beaches. Accommodation was good. The kitchen and bathroom had everything needed and we enjoyed exploring the area.Only minor thing was the main bedroom is quite lightbright from some sky lights and these windows aren't really shown on the photos. If you, or your family, find it difficult to sleep in a brighter room then perhaps go for one of the other rooms.”
