If you want to enjoy a truly rural holiday retreat on the Isle of Anglesey, Bryn Lon Bach is for you!
Check In: 4pm | Check Out: 10am
Bryn Lon Bach is one half of a stone barn conversion which has been brilliantly divided into two guest accommodations: Bryn Lon and Bryn Lon Bach, and which can be rented separately or as a whole.
Bryn Lon Bach sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms and up to 10 guests can stay at Bryn Lon Mawr (the two cottages together).
The accommodation enjoys a beautiful countryside setting in Caergeiliog, just a five-minute drive to the village of Bodedern and an easy 15-minute drive to popular Rhosneigr village and beaches.
What you should know: Bryn Lon Bach is pet-friendly, welcoming one well-behaved dog. Tell your humans!
Enter into a beautiful hallway with gorgeous flagstone tiled floors where you find two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom.
Both bedrooms feature traditional wood-beamed ceilings which add a touch of rustic charm to each.
There is a double bedroom complete with a wardrobe and set of drawers and one twin bedroom.
A family bathroom completes the downstairs accommodation, featuring a shower over bath, washbasin, WC and heated towel rail.
Upstairs living space
Head upstairs to the gorgeous living, dining and open-plan kitchen area with its wooden floors, beamed double-height ceilings and skylights.
The living area features two comfortable sofas, a flat-screen TV and a cosy wood burner (plus there is central heating for extra warmth during autumn-winter stays). A dining table seats four guests.
The American-style fully equipped and well-stocked kitchen is perfect for preparing meals together, while you catch up on the latest gossip.
If you are renting Bryn Lon Mawr as a whole, you can open the connecting door from the kitchen/diner which links to the kitchen of Bryn Lon via a hallway (this door remains locked if you are just renting one half of the property).
This is a fantastic set-up where you can gather, cook together and dine together and then cosy up on comfortable sofas and catch up on the latest gossip or your favourite series on the flat-screen Smart TV.
Rural garden bliss
Bryn Lon Bach features a pretty enclosed rural garden area with picnic benches and swings for the children and gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. The garden is shared with Bryn Lon.

If you want to get out and explore the island, the closest destinations are Holyhead (10 minutes) and Trearddur Bay (13 minutes). Holyhead boasts lots of charming shops and pubs as well as the striking Breakwater with its County Park. Meanwhile, Trearddur Bay is flanked by glorious rugged coastline and sandy beaches and coves, as well as the picturesque South Stack Lighthouse.
The popular village of Rhosneigr is just a 15-minute drive from Bryn Lon Mawr. Winner of the Green Coast Seaside Award, it has two brilliant golden sand beaches, which are great for water sports, particularly wind and kite surfing.
Around the island, there are lots of other pretty coves and bays where you can enjoy open swimming and safe child-friendly bathing, beach strolls, rock pool exploring and sandcastle competitions!
Cycling is another great way to explore the island with a 120-mile perimeter to explore and plenty of rural trails so that you can explore the scenic countryside. The countryside stretches for miles inland with magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and Llyn Peninsula.
