Set in a beautiful rural location; yet less than a mile from the vibrant and historic town of Henley in Arden and 15 minutes from Stratford upon Avon, Arden Way Cottage offers the perfect base for a relaxing Warwickshire break.

The cottage is all on one level, enjoying a beautiful setting within the grounds of its owner’s country home and has the Heart of England way footpath – taking in miles and miles of Warwickshire’s most scenic countryside - running right from its front door!

Arden Way’s double bedroom has plentiful wardrobe space and overlooks its enclosed patio garden. The property’s owner can provide a further temporary bed if required, giving the cottage a capacity of 3 (2+1) making it ideal for a small family or group of friends.

A good sized lounge/diner features two comfortable sofas and wall mounted flat screen TV with Amazon Firestick. Free Wi Fi is also provided for guests’ convenience.

The cottage has a well equipped brand new kitchen with granite worktops, integrated microwave, ceramic hob, oven, fridge and freezer. Arden Way’s well-proportioned bathroom has an electric power shower and electric towel radiator.

The cottage is approached through wrought iron electric gates and has its own gravelled parking area. Four legged guests will enjoy the wonderful walking and fresh air that’s on offer.

Set in the midst of excellent walking country and a short drive from a good selection of excellent country pubs, this is also great cycling country, with bikes available to hire from nearby Stratford upon Avon and hire bike delivery also available.

Historic Henley in Arden with its stunning High Street is less than a mile away and offers a fabulous selection of cafes, inns, restaurants (including Italian, Indian, Chinese and the Michelin starred 'Cheals') and a number of interesting independent shops. Just two miles away from the cottage in the lovely village of Ullenhall is another characterful eating pub The Winged Spur and in Wootton Wawen The Bull's Head and Navigation Inn.

Henley in Arden has excellent public transport facilities, offering regular buses to Stratford upon Avon and Birmingham and a British Rail station linking many nearby villages including pretty Wilmcote, home of Mary Arden’s Farm. There is also a British Rail station at nearby Wootton Wawen.

Many of Warwickshire's best attractions - including Shakespeare's Birthplace, Mary Arden's Farm, Anne Hathaway's Cottage, Warwick Castle, Ragley Hall, Kenilworth Castle, Stratford Armouries, Packwood House, Baddesley Clinton and Coughton Court (to name but a few - there are literally hundreds!) - are within a twenty minute drive of the property, making it an ideal base from which to explore Shakespeare's county. Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, Alcester, Birmingham and The Cotswolds are also easily accessible, making this an excellent central base for a break in stunning Warwickshire surroundings.

“Arden Way really does have the best of both worlds as it's in a beautiful rural location with lovely countryside and walking all around, yet it's so easy to get to all the many local tourist attractions like Stratford upon Avon, Warwick and not forgetting the great local town of Henley in Arden. Being able to bring the four legged member of our family along too was a real bonus and we took full advantage of the many great walks running from the Heart of England/Arden Way footpath which runs right outside the cottage. You can also walk across the fields to the town of Henley in Arden where there's a great selection of cafes, shops and some brilliant places to eat. The cottage is homely and the perfect comfortable base for a trip to this lovely bit of the UK (or 'Shakespeare Country' as it's known locally) There is so much to do in this area of Warwickshire that we barely scratched the surface during our long weekend, so we have a very good excuse for a return visit! “The Best of Both Worlds - Arden Way Cottage is in a lovely spot with great sweeping views and lovely walking right from its front door, but is also very close to great places to visit like Stratford-Upon-Avon, Henley in Arden and Warwick. Comfortable and cosy accommodation with everything you could need in a truly beautiful setting. Also very close to some beautiful National trust properties Baddesley Clinton and Packwood House and many great village pubs and restaurants. Our second visit to this area, dogs are made especially welcome by the cottage’s owners and they had a great stay too! A great place to stay in every way. ”
