Formerly the Craigside Hotel and Riviera Apartments, these four holiday apartments are located in an elevated position off Shutta Road, the properties are conveniently positioned within walking distance of the harbourside town centre of Looe. East Looe beach is just ½ mile away and Plaidy beach is also close by.
This elevated position allows panoramic views of the East and West Looe River estuaries in the foreground set against the wooded backcloth of Trenant Woods. Looe straddles the wide river with its long bridge and stone harbour side, the town boasts a thriving tourist industry and popular with boating enthusiasts. There are a wide range of shopping and community facilities, on both sides of the river, together with award winning restaurants. With woodland and river walks into Looe, this really is an ideal spot in which to unwind. Enjoy the local renowned fish market, which sells fresh fish straight off the boats in the harbour. Deep sea fishing, pleasure trips and other water sports can all be enjoyed locally.
Walk along the Cornwall coastal path in the opposite direction to Polperro, a village steeped in the history of fishing and smuggling, or stroll the narrow lanes and enjoy the local pubs, shops and galleries. The sheltered bays of Talland and Lantic offer excellent swimming and bathing against the backdrop of the dramatic Cornish coastline. Visit the town of Fowey, which can be reached by the regular ferry across the Fowey River. The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are within half an hour’s drive. Golf, horse riding, sailing, sea fishing and kayaking are all available close by so there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. Beach 170 yards. Shop 170 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
