Reviews

“Daisy Cottage was lovely. The best holiday rental. The hostfamily have put a lot of care in to renovating the cottage and making sure visitors have everything they need. The cottage is in a small village, but everything you need is a short drive away. Buses are quite regular as well. I would highly recommend this cottage.”

“We had a lovely stay at Daisy Cottage and would definitely recommend to friends and family, we used our bus pass to visit Skipton and various other places its a beautiful part of the country. The cottage is in a very quiet and scenic area, very well equipped and lovely welcome pack. The bed was very comfortable but we prefer softer pillows. Overall Daisy Cottage is a delightful little gem, thanks again to the owners.”

“Daisy cottage is one of the best cottages overall that we have stayed at. Spotlessly cleaned. The cottage is on 3 levels, front door leads into the lounge, comfy sofas, wooden floor, loads of information regarding the property and the surrounding areas, information on towns, places to visit, local walks, local eateries. Kitchendiner downstairs, very well equipped with everything you may need even a slow cooker if you want to eat in after a day out. Patio area with table and chairs lead from the kitchen. Back upstairs through the lounge and then upstairs you have the bedroom and bathroom. Bed for us was perfect, wardrobe with plenty of hangers! Chest of drawers with enough space for our clothes. The bathroom is small but perfectly kitted out, bath with shower over, loo and sink. All beautifully presented. Ok it takes a while to fill the bath but hey no need to rush on your hols! Parking on the road was no trouble. Pub nearby that is a 10 minute walk tops serves really good food, the Craven Heifer. Further away in Earby there is the Punch Bowl, decent food, also ideal if you are into football. Cottage location ideal for exploring the Lancashire coast, Forest of Bowland, The Dales, Skipton, Harrogate and much more. Owner was there to meet us and supply information regarding heating etc on arrival and text us during the week to make sure we were happy. Its really refreshing to have an owner go that extra mile. Welcome pack was also provided, milk, bread, butter, cake and some other bits, really nice touch. Dog bed and bowls provided and there are also stair gates on the stairs to make sure your dog does not wander, open tread stairs! I really like the fact that dogs were not allowed upstairs in the bedroom, I know some dog owners have dogs in their bedrooms but Im not a fan of that so this suited us. I would definitely recommend this cottage and if we are up that way again I would not hesitate to stay there. Ideal.”

“very well presented indeed . alot of extra touches ,welcoming pack . Upstairs and downstairs . Wasnt to happy about the pet policy though .Not upstairs . Dosent work in a strange house leaving yr dog downstairs. Should have been mentioned. Also open tread stairs 2 flights would be difficult for peple with walking problems. A marvalous cottage plenty of walks from the door. plenty to see in the area.”

“I found the cottage immaculately clean and very tastefully furnished and well equipped. The brook at the end of the garden is a delight and it is a very attractive row of stone cottages which perhaps the pictures don't do enough enough credit. Friendly neighbours and a helpful owner. There are also very attractive walks onto the moors which start at your doorstep and a wide range of attractions easily accessible by car in almost every direction. Highly recommended.”

“The cottage was well presented and equipped. The cottage is spread over 3 floors, kitchen in the basement then lounge at ground level with bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The courtyard was nice with a beck trickling by. Was very relaxing. Lots of places to visit nearby and plenty of walks on the doorstep and surrounding area. Chip shop and pub on main road highly recommended. The owners were very helpful and the welcome pack was a nice touch. If we visit the area again I would have no hesitation in booking Daisy Cottage again.”

“One of the best well equipped cottages we've stayed in. Beautifully presented with lots of welcome touches. Ideally situated to explore the local area, great pub Craven Heifer within walking distance. The hosts were very helpful and kind. Very clean. Couldn't ask for more. Peaceful location with the added bonus of the babbling brook at the back. We will be returning to stay again soon.”
