This inviting holiday home in Ballintuber, County Mayo is the perfect place for your family to spend some time together. On arrival, be greeted by a spacious driveway with enough room for six cars before entering the white-washed home into the entrance hallway. To the left, discover the bright and airy sitting room with two plush sofas and an armchair to relax on as the Smart TV plays your favourite shows. Stepping through the property, locate the kitchen/diner, which is well-equipped with essential appliances, including an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, and dining seating for seven. If the sun is shining, why not make dinner an alfresco affair on the front garden; here you can sip cold beverages and admire your countryside location. As the evening cools, retire inside and make use of the utility room to freshen your holiday attire and there is a cloakroom for your convenience. Climb up the metal stairwell to locate the family bathroom, tiled in a deep blue and offering a bath to sooth your muscles and an overhead shower for a quick wash. When sleep calls, the first-floor hosts two doubles, one with an en-suite and a single bedroom with an en-suite or for those with limited mobility there is a ground-floor double, also serviced by an en-suite. This picturesque town is home to the Mayo Peace Park, a beautiful green space perfect for a leisurely stroll. Bar One is the perfect place to grab a pint and soak up the local atmosphere. For keen fishermen in the party take a trip to Lough Carra which is only 1km away and is popular for trout and pike fishing. There is even a walking track around a football pitch and a gym just a mile away for those wanting to keep fit. Venture further afield to Westport, a lively and charming town on the Atlantic coast of County Mayo. Ballintuber is a small rural community in County Mayo noted for Ballintubber Abbey, which dates from the 13th century. This charming village is nestled against the Partry Mountains, making it a great spot for ardent walkers looking for a pastoral stroll. If you want to take a break from cooking, Corley's Bar serves home-cooked meals and local ales, and there is a petrol station and convenience shop nearby if you run out of basics. Lough Carra, just outside the hamlet, is a lovely spot for a stroll and a picnic, and Moore Hall has a lush woodland to explore. A picturesque vehicle ride will take you to Westport House, a stately Georgian mansion, and the lovely Saleen Lake.
