Relax and unwind on the sofa, and flicker through the Smart TV for much-loved shows. The large lawn offers alfresco dining in the warmer months, as well as a swing seat to rock on as you listen to the babbling brook. As day draws to night, retire inside and take a hot shower while you keep your towel toasty on the heated rail. When sleep calls, a king-size bed awaits, with bedside lamps either side so you can enjoy a night-time read. Walk into the heart of Ulverston for a great selection of cafes, bars and pubs. The market town is home to South Lakes Safari Zoo to see your favourite animals, a hilly golf course to test your swing and Laurel and Hardy Museum for memorabilia. Jump in the car to visit Lake Windermere; here you can have a day filled with fun on the water with windsurfing, kayaking and boat rides and be sure to visit The World of Beatrix Potter.
