With rural views, The Able Stables - Hewie's Cottage is on one level and has been carefully created to incorporate the assisted living requirements of the independent wheelchair user.

The open plan living space is stylish and practical throughout, with a super-king sized zip and link bed, comfy sofa, practical kitchen and french doors opening onto the decking. In addition, there's a fully accessible wet room which conforms to level M2. With little treats like a coffee machine, wood burning stove and underfloor heating , The Able Stables makes a very comfortable and memorable holiday accommodation for everybody.

Hewie’s Cottage is run as a social enterprise. Together with the owner’s other property, Sam’s Cottage, the funds raised from paying guests go towards offering subsidised breaks to clients that would normally not be able to pay to get away. With these subsidised breaks there is an emphasis on disability of all kinds, but the property would suit anyone that wanted a great place to get away in a unique, reassuring and safe space.

A truly amazing outside/inside sitting room attached to each cottage with ample comfortable seating and dining area, unique furniture, wood burning stove and overhead heating adds to the charm and individuality of this destination. Amenities include a charcoal barbecue, sun loungers and off-road parking for two cars.
