Reviews

“Just returned from a wonderful week away staying in the coach house.Upon arrival we were met by Clive who showed us around the cottage and explained how things worked. When it came time to use the hottub Clive came and showed me how it all worked and also offered to help me lift the lid as I'm disabled and he worried my son wouldn't be able to help. Thankfully once we were shown my son was able to assist me so didn't have to bother Clive, but it was nice to know he was on hand if needed. The cottage itself is really homely and it was nice to see that in the welcome pack it told the history of the building. We cooked and ate in the cottage every day and normally when we go places I struggle making meals as kitchens are never fully equipped so had taken my trusty chefs knife, can opener and other items I need to cook with, but I didn't need to use them at all. The kitchen is well stocked with a full knife set that was of great quality and sharpness, there were pans in all sizes, a pizza pan, cake tins and even a blender! There were also kitchen towels, oven gloves washing up liquid, sponges, kitchen roll, tin foil and cling film again items I'd brought with me as wasn't expecting these to be provided. The bedroom was lovely, although, if like us you are sensitive to the morning sun, be warned there are 4 windows, so an eye mask and detachable blackout blinds are a must. The shower was super powerful and easy to use.The area is beautiful, a lovely evening walk with my son and dog around the land before the sun set and as no light pollution the night sky was lovely. The cottage had super strong WiFi, which is handy as no phone signal. There is also a stereo and dvd player, although we didn't use these. All in all we had such a lovely week and did not want to return home and will definitely be booking to go again next year!”

“This is a great place to stay if you want somewhere quiet, with easy access to places of interest and beaches in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. The hot tub was great, especially after a day of walking part of the Coast path. We enjoyed our two week stay and would go back again.”

“We had a fantastic time at a peaceful secluded cottage. Facilities where exactly as advertised and the owner Clive was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. We had use of the large gardens and woodland walk which was great for relaxing and rejuvenating after a long day exploring Molly our dog was made to feel welcome which for us was an added bonus. Although a little of the beaten path it was perfectly convenient for all local attractions including beaches and towns. We are already considering next years booking.”

“Cosy, comfortable cottage ideal for a couple (& their dog).Owner even offered to override timer on the heating when we stayed in on a wet day. Lack of light pollution makes it great for star gazing & Velux window in Bedroom means you can watch them from the comfort of a four poster bed!”
