Perfect for couples or solo adventurers seeking quiet wilderness, it’s an immersive refuge where simplicity becomes luxury.

The space

Step into a welcoming open-plan living area where rustic charm meets utilitarian comfort. A crackling wood-burning stove creates a cosy retreat on cooler evenings, with lanterns and candlelight enhancing the peaceful ambience.

The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for preparing simple meals, while traditional touches remind you of the building’s crofting heritage.

A comfortable double bedroom offers a tranquil night’s rest overlooking the landscape, and the adjacent shower room is powered by gas, ensuring a refreshing start or end to your day.

Outside, a wood-fired bath invites you to soak beneath the stars, and a fire pit creates a magical setting for evening conversations beside an open flame.

Sustainability lies at the heart of this Highland retreat. Fully off-grid and rooted in traditional crofting principles, the bothy operates without mains electricity, encouraging a simpler, more mindful way of living. Heat comes from a wood-burning stove, with gas providing hot water and cooking, while low-impact lighting and minimal reliance on modern infrastructure allow guests to reconnect with nature and tread lightly on the landscape.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 70 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.
