“We loved our stay in this cosy cottage. It was well equipped and a very comfy bed and quiet, dark bedroom meant we slept really well. Good location for walking to town centre or beach. Lots to explore in this secluded corner of Scotland and the cottage is an ideal base.”

“If this cottage is coming up in your search criteria, then problem solved, just book it! It's a lovely little comfortable place with very friendly and helpful owners. The welcome hamper is such a lovely addition and we were very grateful for the items left for us, coffee, milk, bread, butter, jams, cereals, bacon, and tons of condiments. The place was spotless when we arrived and has a very wellequipped kitchen. The location is hard to beat with a short walk to local shops and the pictureperfect harbour and beach, the surrounding areas are also outstanding, think of Devon or Cornwall without the crowds and free parking everywhere! Subjective, but we found the beds extremely comfortable, and were happy with the seagulls' dawn chorus and miss it already!”

“Lovely wee cottage well located for exploring this beautiful area. Well equipped with all you need for your holiday. We and our dog were given a warm welcome by Helen, who's covid safe protocols were very reassuring and who had left us a welcome pack that was exceptionally generous. The surrounding countryside is stunning with fantastic walking and lovely little villages and towns to explore. Duff House is also well worth a visit. In Banff there is a very good Indian takeaway and tasty fish and chips at Whitehills a few miles away. Thank you Helen and Paul!”

“Had a lovely break at Coldhome cottage. The owners were very friendly, helpful and informative and the welcome pack was much appreciated after our long journey! We loved Banff and the location was really central and convenient, and only a couple of minutes stroll to the beach. Its a fab location for exploring too, the coastline is full of lovely villages and coves, especially just east around crovie and Pennan. We would definitely consider returning, we had such a relaxing week in this comfortable and cosy cottage. The climate is very favourable in this part of Scotland. Unlike the popular and stunning west coast there are no mountains, but there are also no midges, and the weather was superb! (whereas it rained all week in the west). I would highly recommend it for a relaxing break.”
