“Absolutely amazing place, everything you require is there.”

“Lovely place, very please with the accommodation and the facilities provided. Ive only given a low rating on the local amenities as you do have to drive to get to the shop or pub. This said we were looking for a remote place to stay and this place was perfect,no neighbours just green.”

“This cottage is amazing, tge views are spectacular and it is equipped to a very high standard. The owners were very helpful and sent us instructions on how to get there. Do not follow your SatNav! Wed love to go back.”

“The Platt is a wonderful hidey hole to get away from it all. We rang the owners to let them know we had arrived, very welcoming, and knew we could call if we needed anything. Lovely thoughtful welcome basket both for us and the dogs! Enough wood for a couple of nights, but very effective heating besides. Lovely equipped kitchen, and comfy bed, very large double shower and lots of very nice touches. Our only niggle was the broadband speed, which was extremely slow, this was important to us and definitely a downside. Otherwise a beautiful property to kick back, relax in utter peace and quiet. Can highly recommend the Springer Spaniel pub too just 5 mins drive away for the most delicious Sunday roast!.”

“The Platt is an amazing cottage with a view to die for. It was much larger than we expected. Everything was beautifully prepared and the hosts were very welcoming. We would happily recommend The Platt and hope to go back again ourselves.”

“This was a fabulous getaway in a beautiful location. Perfect for time away from it all. There is nothing around for miles, but you can soon jump in the car and have a day out at beautiful places. We particularly loved the perfect placing of the windows to watch the sun rise each morning. One to stay on our list of perfect places.”

“If it's peace and quiet you after, this is the place for you! Ideal location for exploring Dartmoor and the surrounding area with the coast only about a 40 minute drive away. The cottage is secluded down a short narrow lane over looking fields, so plenty of privacy. Th owners arevery helpful and always available if needed. Thank you for the lovely scones and cream and other welcome items which were very much appreciated.”

“Fantastic accommodation a lovely place to stay. Really peaceful and relaxing with amazing view. Great nights sleep so quiet and very comfortable bed. Close to pubs and supermarkets.”
— Sharon, 28 July 2021
“We absolutely love staying at The Platt. The surrounding countryside is so peaceful and pretty. There is absolutely nothing to do in the Village of Rezare but that suits us perfectly. There are however quite a few pubs that serve nice meals within a 15 minute drive and a supermarket at nearby Launceston. The kitchen is very well equipped for anyone who loves to cook. A big thank you to the owners :)”
