Reviews

“A beautiful cottage in an excellent location. The enclosed gardens were great for the dogs and walking to the village and on to the coast became a daily routine. A minor issue with the central heating was dealt with quickly in a helpful way. An enjoyable week long break. Thank you.”

“Perfect cottage for our stay near the coast, quiet private location but 10 min walk to all shops, pubs and historic sites. Beach and Coast only 1.5 miles away too. Beautiful part of the country and host was excellent with their communication and advice.”

“This is a lovely cottage, very comfortable and ideal for a couple plus dogs. Very well equipped and well designed. We had a super holiday here; the area is fascinating and you are very close to the sea and the beach at Coldingham.”

“Lovely cottage in a nice village. Spar, butchers and two pubs in easy walking distance. The New Inn has a beer garden and also you can take dogs inside. They ask that you book 24 hours before if you wish to eat inside with a dog. The cottage is well equipped. We soon worked the aga out and the smart tv was a bonus. We would be very happy to return. Thanks for a lovely stay”

“A beautiful cottage to stay in and the weather certainly helped! Just a few niggles that we pointed out to the owner who replied immediately and thanked us and promised to put things right. Would certainly recommend this cottage especially if you are a dog owner as the gardens are safely enclosed which is a bonus.”

“Beautiful cottage in a perfect location. Cottage had everything we needed including garden chairs and a BBQ. We loved sitting in the conservatory as we could watch our dog have fun in the private garden. Big thanks to owner Sue for the walking tips, we had great fun exploring, a lot of great walks on your door step. We will definitely be returning!”

“Utterly magnificent property. Owner's were visiting the property next door. Super helpful, and kind. Literally took my breath away when walked in. Photos on line do not in any way do the property justice!”

“Lovey area. Loads of walks around. Cottage perfect for just the 2 of us. Didnt use local facilities due to Covid ”
— Graham, 29 December 2020
“Lovely cottage with great space for us with a baby and two dogs. The covid measures taken meant there was not even any salt and pepper of oil for cooking which meant it was frustrating to cook. Kitchen roll would have also been helpful....But overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay very much”
