This property enjoys a quiet farmland location surrounded by rolling fields on the outskirts of the North Yorkshire village of Huby. There is a handy farm shop just a short drive away as well as two welcoming pubs and a local railway station. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area including the exquisite Harewood House this stunnning stately home is situated within 6 miles of the property and not only offers 1000 acres of grounds but also a fantastic art collection a rare bird garden where they keep penguins alongside more traditional farmyard animals. Other attractions in the local area include the spa town of Harrogate Brimham Rocks local market towns of Ilkley and Skipton and the beautiful City of York. Stepping inside this property guests come first to the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This welcoming space has an exposed stone wall at one end a beamed vaulted ceiling and a warming wood burner all of which add character to this attractively styled room. The lounge area offers leather sofas an iPod dock and a TV/DVD whilst the dining area has a table seating four which is situated just in front of the kitchen. Guests will easily find everything they need to recreate all their favourite dishes including an oven hob microwave and fridge with additional fridge/ freezer in the shared laundry room. A wooden staircase with four steps leads down to the bedroom with its double bed dressing table wardrobe and tall windows which look out onto the pretty courtyard. A door from the bedroom leads through to the en-suite bathroom a contemporarily styled room offering a shower-over-bath and WC. A door from the living area leads out to the pleasant patio area which is a lovely place to enjoy alfresco drinks. There is ample off-road parking and a shared laundry room with a washing machine tumble dryer and additional fridge freezer. Need to know: 1 double bedroom.
