Barn Cottage, Bodmin

This is a quite beautiful and peaceful spot. Located next door to the Owner's property, this detached conversion has its own very private enclosed walled patio garden and is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the rural atmosphere. This area is a great place to explore by bicycle and you can either bring your own or hire them locally and roam along the nearby Camel Trail. Barn Cottage is an ideal base for touring the whole of Cornwall with a host of nearby sandy beaches such as Polzeath, Harlyn and Trevone. Classic Cornish villages such as Fowey, Mevagissey, Port Isaac and Boscastle are all within easy reach, as is the bustling fishing town of Looe. The famous Eden Project is well worth a visit as is the stately home at Lanhydrock, both just a few minutes away. The beautiful River Fowey is accessible for walks at various points nearby including Golitha Falls and Respryn, with their ancient beech woodlands, and in the former Cornish capital of Lostwithiel. Lanhydrock golf course is approximately one mile away for those desiring a leisurely round or two! The comfortable and stylish interior is set out over split levels with the large bedroom and limestone tiled bathroom on the upper ground level. There are four steps down to the spacious open plan kitchen / dining / living room with its superb large french windows opening onto the lovely patio garden with its established shrubs, climbing roses and water feature. Ground Floor Only: Open plan kitchen / dining room / living room. Main bedroom with king sized double bed and a separate bathroom with over bath shower & WC.

Exterior: Enclosed patio with exterior furniture, BBQ facilities and pond with water feature.

Facilities & Services

Heating is via electric heating. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven & induction hob, kettle, toaster, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine & tumble drier. The living room area has a flatscreen, digital TV & DVD player. A cot & highchair are available. There is an iron & ironing board and hairdryer available. WiFi is available in the cottage.

Miscellaneous

Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included. There are parking facilities for up to 2 vehicles. Up to two well-behaved dogs will be permitted at a small additional cost of £25 per dog / per week. No smoking is allowed. WE REGRET NO CHILDREN, STRICTLY BABES IN ARMS DUE TO THE WATER FEATURE.
