“Lovely cottage, very quiet and peaceful just what I wanted to escape the city for a few days, it was perfect. I did not even notice the sound of the planes from Stansted. It has everything you need a home from home, nice big comfy bed, and the wood burner is great, nice and cosy on a chilly night. Beautiful surroundings, great view to wake up to. You need to drive to get to any amenities but there is a pub and tesco metro within about a 20 minute walk. Dee the owner was most helpful and accommodating, lovely lady. I had a really good relaxing stay and would certainly stay again.”

“We had a lovely week at Evie Rose cottage. The owner Dee made us feel very comfortable and the woodland setting is beautiful and tranquil. Stansted airport is nearby but we didnt find the sound of the planes too intrusive. If you enjoy golf, the adjoining course is great. The food is excellent in the clubhouse, and its only a 5 minute walk from the cottage.”

“A lovely find. We needed to stay near relatives so it wasnt somewhere we stayed as a holiday. We would certainly go again. Lovely and welcoming.”
