Reviews

“Bramble cottage is spotless, very cosy and welcoming. The garden is lovely, with seating in sunny and shaded areas and fully enclosed meaning we were able to relax as our expert escapee terrier was safe. There were walks from the cottage and St Ives is just down the lane.’”

“It’s always a joy to return to Bramble Cottage. It’s such a quiet and peaceful location, yet close to St Ives and other attractions. Particularly good for dogs and children with the large, pretty and well-fenced garden. It is comfortable, stylish and very well equipped. A firm favourite with all the family. ”

“Just come home from a week’s stay at Bramble cottage with family & 4 dogs and we’re already booking again! It’s really hard to find somewhere that’s nice and ‘dog friendly’.Dogs are allowed everywhere - none of this ‘no dogs on sofa’ .. which is amazing when your dogs are treated like one of the family at home. The garden is Big and properly enclosed, so they were able to enjoy it and we could relax knowing they weren’t able to escape! The cottage itself is beautiful, I feel like the pictures don’t really do it justice.10/10 would recommend to anyone. ”

“Just like to say what a fantastic time me & my friend had staying at Bramble Cottage. We had 5 dogs with us & the place was idyllic, the location & cottage was perfect if you want a quiet relaxing break. The cottage layout & gardens we’re great for the dogs & the local beaches especially Carbis bay we’re great for the dogs.I’ll definitely booking again a must go to place.”

“Myself, my husband and 2 friends have just returned from a fabulous holiday at Bramble Cottage. What a little treasure this place is. A real home from home in a tranquil setting just a short 5 minute drive from St Ives.We particularly enjoyed all the lovely wild birds in the garden of which is absolutely safe for our 2 dogs. Another recommendation would be to do the 3 hour walk to the cove where you will see the seals. Good walking shoes and you would need to be quite able bodied I would say but well worth it. Truly magical! All in all a wonderful break away with everything you need at Bramble. Cant wait for another visit. ”

“Delightful cottage which is well positioned for exploring St Ives and the surrounding areas. The hosts made us feel very welcome and the cottage and enclosed garden are a perfect choice for dog lovers. We will certainly consider staying there again and have already recommended the accommodation to friends.”

“We had a wonderful time in St Ives and Bramble Cottage is an idyllic place to stay. Our German Shepherd was safe in the large, enclosed garden. My elderly mum could stay in the downstairs double bedroom with an en suite. My husband enjoyed the garden and the assortment of birds. Finally, my two older children competed happily with the table games provided. Thank you!”

“Thank you so much for our wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage. We had a lovely time and our dogs adored the garden, being fully secure it was a safe wonderland of nature for them to explore! You've truly made a lovely haven in a wonderful part of the country. The views are truly beautiful and watching and hearing the array of birds was so relaxing. We enjoyed walks in the countryside right on the doorstep and was never bored with having the games room too! Thank you again, you made our stay (including a birthday) in a beautiful part of the country extra special by being in such a lovely cottage. A perfect week had by all and couldn’t recommend enough!”

“We had a fabulous holiday in Bramble Cottage as did the dogs. It was spotlessly clean and the Covid Protocols were quite extensive which made us feel safe. For less able visitors it is a real bonus to have a downstairs bedroom with a wet room. All the beds were comfortable and the rooms bright and airy. It had everything we needed and the dogs loved the big secure garden. There were numerous walks from the property and lovely beaches within easy reach. All in all it was a lovely holiday and we will be back. ”

“Thank you for the opportunity for a lovely holiday on the first week coming out of lockdown. Even with current restrictions the cottage was homely and everything was well organised. We all enjoyed the beautiful garden for breakfast and for a sundowner looking out to sea. Hope to see you again soon and good luck Kind regards Lesley and Alan”

“Bramble cottage is a beautiful dog friendly place to stay. perfect base for travelling round Cornwall. Everything you need in the cottage is there, home from home. Really liked the bath where you can see the horses in the field. Would definitely recommend staying there, especially in these trying times where Kevin & Karen have made every effort to ensure everyone is safe. ”

“Had a fabulous week at Bramble Cottage although there was a sea fret most days didn’t dampen our stay there at all. Beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings, fantastic garden fully dog proof and friendly horse neighbours. Fully equipped with everything you need and more. Immaculate, spotless and the owners had taken every Covid prevention measure and beyond we felt 100% safe there. We met Karen and Kevin on arrival and they are excellent hosts, checked everything was ok during our stay and whilst we didn’t have to contact them during our stay we knew they were there if we needed any help. We are not ramblers (or even keen walkers) but we managed the walk to St Ives and back without any difficulty. Our only regret is we were only there for a week, would have loved to stay longer! Would definitely stay there again or at their second property Phoenix Cottage. Rose, Mick, Laura, Joel. Laurence and Kam”

“Another wonderful visit to Bramble Cottage and a real boost to our confidence in taking a holiday as we emerge from lockdown. The cottage is spacious and comfortable with beautiful gardens and wonderful bird life to watch. The standards of cleanliness are always excellent, but are now absolutely exemplary. There is nothing which Karen and Kevin have not considered in order to ensure the safely of their guests, and I know they spend hours cleaning with all the recommended products between changeovers. We had a wonderful, restful break. Thank you both, and we all look forward to seeing you again soon ”

“Bramble Cottage was a little gem. Spacious and well equipped with a fantastic garden. Perfectly located for lovely walks to seal cove and 20 minutes into St Ives. The cottage was spotlessly clean with all necessary precautions taken care of. Kevin and Karen couldn’t do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We look forward to our return. ”

“the cottage is beautifully situated with no near neighbours. ( great for my barky rescue dogs) an amazing garden, could have sat in it all day and been very happy! Completely dog friendly and safe for pets and kids. I loved the birds coming to the feeders, a huge variety! The cottage; is beautiful and was very clean, the owners obviously went to great pains to provide plenty of hand sanitizer, PPE, and we all felt very safe. Great walks and beaches all around! Don't hesitate to book, we will be going back, perfect for us!”
